Utilizes an Intoximeters electrochemical fuel cell sensor which generates an electrical response that is proportional to the Breath Alcohol Concentration in the provided, fixed volume sample. The fuel cell sensor is highly selective for alcohol. It does not respond to acetone or other substances found in the human breath after a fifteen minute deprivation period. |

I certified on the VXL Alco-Sensor almost three years ago and it’s my favorite EBT. Just follow the prompts, the device is accurate and fast. Get the RBT without the keyboard you spend to much laborious time imputing donor info one letter or number at a time. I sold my rbt iv red dot and rbt iv blue dot. I also have a PAS Jupiter DOT 3 that’s good but not like the XLV. I recommend the XLV RBT to any collector that wants every thing they need fir a collection DOT or Non-DOT in one case.
