MINIMUM CONFIGURATION REQUIRED TO RUN THE ASIV @ WORK SYSTEM

Operating System
Microsoft Windows 7^®, Microsoft Windows Vista^®, Microsoft Windows XP^® or Microsoft Windows 2000^®operating systems.

CPU, Available Hard Disk Space, RAM
Requirements do not exceed the minimum system requirements of the underlying Microsoft Windows^® operating system.

Serial or USB Port
An available USB or serial port for connecting with the ASIV is required. A standard 9-pin serial port or USB port (when used with a supported USB to serial adapter, purchased separately) may be used.

Parallel or USB Port
A communications port for connecting with the printer; for printing test results is required. ASIV@Work supports specific USB label printers and parallel dot matrix printers for generating test result labels for affixation to the preprinted testing form, or for printer directly onto the pre-printed testing forms, respectively. ASIV@Work supports most laser printers for standard reports.

Serial Ports (COM Ports)
1 available serial port required for cable interface with the Alco-Sensor IV. Serial port may be supplied by a supported USB to serial adapter.

Printers
A supported parallel or USB printer.

Display (Monitor)
1024 x 768 (or better) True Color resolution.

Communications (Cable)
Alco-Sensor IV @ Work comes equipped with a 9-pin serial interface cable for the ASIV.

Modem (Optional)
A 33.6K or faster modem if IntoxNet upload over modem feature is to be used.

GENERAL OVERVIEW
Intoximeters Alco-Sensor IV @ Work ("ASIV@Work") combines the precision and accuracy of the Alco-Sensor IV ("ASIV") with the processing power of your computer. This software package offers a low cost, easy to operate system for managing an alcohol breath test program. (Alco-Sensor IV sold separately.)

ANALYTICAL
Alco-Sensor IV @ Work can interface with supported firmware versions of an ASIV for online testing.

BASIC FUNCTIONALITY
The @ Work software is an interactive interface which instructs the operator through a test sequence. Instructions for the sample collection process (DOT or Non DOT) are provided, ensuring that the test is performed according to the programmed testing procedures and the Quality Assurance guidelines. The collected test information can be printed. and is stored to the computer's hard drive for retrieval and report generation at a later time.

Data Storage
ASIV@Work stores test results to a queryable database from which results may be reprinted and reports generated.
Data Collection
ASIV@Work eases and conduces uniform data entry, allowing standard input data (i.e., technician or company information) to be stored to and picked from tables.

Printout Capability
Test results, forms, and reports can be printed using various printers supported by Microsoft Windows^® (laser, dot matrix or label). For mandated testing specific printers are available for use. Contact Intoximeters for the currently available options.

Communications
The Alco-Sensor IV @Work software will operate as a standalone system or as part of a defined networked system. Networking multiple ASIV@Work sites to a centralized database can be accomplished with IntoxNet, an Intoximeters central database program (purchased separately). ASIV@Work systems can be interfaced with IntoxNet via modem or network / internet connection.

Mobility
ASIV@Work can be conveniently used wherever your laptop computer is used. If printed results are required, mobile printer options may be considered.
