Estimated Turnaround Times

Intoximeters prides itself on how quickly we are able to get an instrument back in the field which can vary depending on the complexity and number of instruments in house for repair or recertification. For an additional fee expedited shipping service can be arranged. Phone support is available from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
What can make a recertification or repair take longer

Poor packaging. Instruments that are packaged like the examples (below) require more checkout time. Chances are there are now more problems with the instrument than when it was packaged. When damage is incurred during shipping because of poor packaging, you the customer are responsible for any extra repair costs in addition to the original repair/recert issue. All improperly packaged items are photographed. Cosmetic damages to instruments that do not affect its performance are over looked, but any damage to an instrument's critical features will be corrected and billed accordingly. Critical features include, but are not limited to displays, buttons, inlet or outlet ports, breath tubes, nipples, cables, chargers and printers.

Every instrument we ship comes in a well packed, sturdy cardboard box. Our handheld units come in self contained hard plastic cases. If space allows, you should keep the box and packing materials for future use. Well packaged items will ensure quick turn around times.  More Information about shipping.
