Re-certification by Exam

An online exam consisting of 120 questions that are multiple choice, true/false and matching.  You should review all pertinent DOT BAT training and Intoximeters materials before your scheduled exam.  You are responsible for obtaining any 49 CFR Part 40 rule changes that may have occurred since your initial Instructor training course.  The exam will cover:

• DOT rules, regulations and procedures pertaining to DOT alcohol testing
• Intoximeters instrument operation, calibration theory and procedures, Intoximeters QAP
• Alcohol in the Human Body and breath analysis

A time limit of two hours (120 minutes) will be given to complete the exam.  An exam score of 85% or better is required for your current Trainer Agreement to be extended.  A score below 85% will require attendance and successful completion of the Refresher Instructor course.

Intoximeters will notify you when your exam is ready.  This could take as many as two (2) business days.   You will be contacted and given your Login and Password.  You will then be able to sign on to the Intoximeter site and take your exam at your leisure.  You will be able to login at any time within a 2 month period from the time Intoximeters notifies you of your test.  You will not be able to pause or stop the test once it has begun. 

During the online checkout process the name associated with the purchase will be assumed as the exam taker.  If the exam taker is not the card holder or purchaser of this exam use the Ship To Name for the name of the exam taker.  Purchase Order orders of this online exam are subject to CANCELLATION if proper credit approval has not been given by Intoximeters.
