ALCO-SENSOR IV @ WORK   for Workplace Testing
 
  Introduction
  Alco Sensor IV @ Work  is a Microsoft Windows® compatible application designed for workplace testing. The software takes the Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT) through a step by step process which follows either the DOT testing guidelines or a non DOT test. The program not only prompts the operator through the test itself producing the required printed results, but it also helps the operator follow the proper QA procedures and records the data for easy retrieval if required at a later point in time.

 
  How it Works
 

AlcoSensor IV @ Work runs under Microsoft Windows® 2000, XP or 2003 Server operating systems. The computer should have at least 512MB of RAM, 500 MB of available hard disk space and either a serial port or a USB port with a compatible USB to serial connector. The Software is loaded, and the Alco Sensor IV is interfaced with the computer through the serial port and a compatible printer is attached to the computer's parallel or USB port.

The software prompts the operator through the data collection process, informs the operator when to perform the breath collection with the Alco Sensor IV and what to do with the produced test result. If a printer is attached to the computer, the printouts are generated at the appropriate times and instructions for form control are offered.
