GENERAL OVERVIEW
Intoximeters Alco-Sensor IV @ Work combines the precision and accuracy
of the Alco-Sensor IV (ASIV) with the processing power of your
computer. This software package offers a low cost, easy to operate
system for managing an alcohol breath test program. (Alco-Sensor
IV sold separately.)
ANALYTICAL
Alco-Sensor IV @ Work can interface with
supported firmware versions of an ASIV for online testing. BASIC FUNCTIONALITY
The
@ Work software is an interactive interface which instructs the operator
through a test sequence. Instructions for
the sample collection process (DOT or Non DOT) are provided, ensuring
that the test is performed according to the programmed testing
procedures and the Quality Assurance guidelines. The collected
test information can be printed. and is stored to the computer's hard
drive for retrieval and report generation at a later time. ALCO-SENSOR IV

Data Storage
The
ASIV @ Work database can store thousands of test records and is limited
only by the disk drive space available on the computer. Data
Collection
ASIV @ Work can accept
information from any standard keyboard. Printout
Capability
Test results, forms, and reports can be printed using various printers
supported by Windows™ (laser, dot matrix or label). For
mandated testing specific printers are available for use. Contact
Intoximeters for the currently available options.
Communications
The Alco-Sensor IV @ Work software will operate as a standalone system
or as part of a defined networked system. Networking multiple ASIV
@ Work sites to a centralized database can be accomplished with
IntoxNet, an Intoximeters central database program (purchased
separately). ASIV @ Work systems can be interfaced with
IntoxNet via a modem, network or internet connection.
Mobility
ASIV @ Work can be conveniently used wherever your laptop computer is used.
If
printed results are required, mobile printer options may be considered.
